Wednesday customers Escape Room expectation experience impression
Zina Delyagina and Andrey Dyachenko
11.30 - 12.15
Who are our target customers? Do we understand them enough to tap into their specific motivations, attract them and not disappoint with the result?
Escape game is a product that may be somewhat difficult to promote. What we offer is, by design, a mystery. We cannot let the players unwrap the package and see what’s inside – we can only tease them, leaving the juiciest parts for after they have payed. We have to use every asset available to create the right expectations and still wow the customer with the actual experience. And we can only do it well if we understand them.
Zina and Andrey will present a model that they use to define different groups of escape room players. They will discuss different ways that bring different customers into an escape room, and what it means for the customer’s expectations, in-game experience and the final impression that the customer takes home.
