What is worse than realising that your escape room design is not working? Figuring it out after spending months on its development.
In order to prevent that from happening, we need to embrace failure as a necessary part of the design process and work methodically with it. During the practical workshop, Lena will introduce various prototyping and playtesting methods and tools that allow you to test and evaluate your ideas as fast as possible. You will then try these methods yourselves by making prototypes and testing them on each other. Bring your own wild ideas for puzzles and games that you want to prototype and test, or get inspired on the spot.
